A2 Media Studies (AQA) - Year 13
At A2, candidates are encouraged to demonstrate, develop and formulate their understanding of the media and its influential role in today's society as well as debating major contemporary media issues:
Unit 3 2 hour examination 25% Critical Perspectives Section A: three compulsory questions on two unseen stimulus pieces. Section B: one essay from a choice of two pre-set topics
Unit 4 Critical investigation and linked production 25% Media: Research and Production A critical investigation (range of media forms) and a linked production piece.
