To teach science in this high achieving, caring and inclusive school, ranked as one of the best in the North-East. Our science department is highly regarded and the subject is very popular and successful in the school curriculum, and particularly popular in the sixth form. We expect our teachers to have the necessary subject knowledge to teach high achieving A Level students and the skills to be able to inspire, motivate and support all students whatever their needs or abilities.

We would welcome applications from physicists, chemists or biologists, but the ability to teach high ability A Level students in at least one of these (but preferably both) disciplines is essential.

QEHS is a flourishing 13-18 community high school with a large sixth form. Further information about the school can be found on our website – www.qehs.net
