Youth Dance Tynedale's latest work 'Requiem of Youth' by internationally renowned choreographer Anthony Lo-Giudice has been selected as one of the pieces to represent Northumberland in the Pulse Regional Final at Dance City on Sunday 17 April 2016.

On Wednesday 16 March 2016, the FUSE Media Centre in Prudhoe hosted an engaging and inspiring day for local First and Middle School students based on designing and advertising their own Fairtrade products. Eight Sixth Form Peer Mentors from QEHS were invited to join in and help out on the day and did an amazing job with the groups that they worked with. The students worked on radio adverts, television adverts and posters which culminated in a showcase of the groups work during the afternoon. A great day was had by all students (and staff) with the possibility of some promising advertising careers ahead!

Year 12 and 13 students took part in a First Aid course on Tuesday 15 March 2016 with St. John’s Ambulance at QEHS. Students found the day very informative and interactive and will receive a certificate for completing the combined Basic First Aid and Essential First Aid All Ages course.
