Tynedale Youth Volleyball. If anyone is interested in playing volleyball, there is a club in school on Saturday mornings 10.30-11.30. Meet at the sports hall. First session is free. See poster on PE noticeboard.

Will all brass players having lessons in school please see Mr. Hignett at 11.15 (break) on Wednesday.
  
3.A blue stud earring has been found outside the 6th Form cafe. See Ms Ambury in the music office - opposite D18 in the Hydro.

The Southbank Sinfonia orchestra will be working in school next week, so the Winter Garden will be closed at the following times:

Wed 20th         1.30 - 5.00
Thurs 21st       11.00 - 3.30
Fri 22nd           9.15 - 10.30
                      11.35 - 12.35

9.Water!!
  There is a new water machine in the foyer next to the vending machines. This one should not run out when there is high demand for water. Bring in your bottles as there are no plastic cups! Keep yourselves hydrated - it helps your concentration! Remember that water can be taken into lessons - but no other form of drinks, please. This does not apply to science labs/other practical areas. Youth Theatre meets on Wednesday 20th September to begin work on the Christmas Show.  Sessions are in the main hall from 7-9.30 p.m.  All welcome.

Rowing Club
 There will be a meeting in C11 on Friday 8th September at morning break for all those interested in joining the Rowing Club.  If you do not have the energy o row and you are small built and a bit bossy, you could make an ideal cox.  Please come along to the meeting to find out what is involved.  If you miss the meeting, see Mrs Higgins, who can be found in the Maths Office on C floor.

Hi Everybody,  Hope you all had a great holiday and welcome back to school from the Catering Staff.
Sixth Form Students – Your café will now be open from 8.30.  Come along and try one of Jayne’s Breakfast Specials.
Our Lower School kitchen will also be open for:
  • Breakfast         8.15 – 9.00
  • Tuck               11.15 – 11.30
  • Lunch              1.25 – 2.15

At lunchtime, we have relocated the Jacket Potato Bar to Big Bites Two Service Area.  In addition to jacket potatoes with hot and cold filling, we will be offering special meals of the day e.g.           

Pasta of the Day      (macaroni cheese)

Soup of the Day             ( tomato)

Dish of the Day              (spicy chilli and rice)


 Look out for the signage in the Kitchen Area for all Meal Deal Specials.
Anyone without a swipe card, please come to the kitchen door and we will issue a card free of charge.
