NEW NOTICES
The Big Brew Just a final reminder to all students that the Fairtrade group are putting on a "Big Brew" in the Winter Gardens today. There will be Fairtrade tea and cake available from 9.30 until 2.15. Please come along at break or lunchtime or get your teacher to bring your class!
The Big Brew is a Traidcraft campaign aimed at putting pressure on the 5 main tea brands in this country (Typhoo, Tetley, PG Tips, Twinings and Yorkshire) to go Fairtrade. They account for 72% of tea sales. Traidcraft is a Fairtrade company based in Gateshead.
We also have Krishnan Sainathan, a Fairtrade Organic Cotton producer, speaking in the Winter Gardens over second lunch (1.40 - 2.15). Please come along to that! We hope to see you and thank you to Hotel and Catering students for baking Fairtrade cakes!! QEHS Fairtrade Group
