Two A4 sketch pads, one cream with name and the other with a fruit collage front cover. Please hand in to the Art Department if found.
- Year 12 & 13 Students
are invited to listen to a short presentation next Tuesday 29th April. Peak Leaders are coming in to promote their ski and snowboard instructor courses in Europe, Canada, Argentina and New Zealand. Two students who have recently returned from the course will also be present to talk about their experiences. The talk will take place at 1.40 p.m. in the conference room. Please support this event and feel free to bring a sandwich with you.
- Hexham Book Festival Screen Writing Workshops - Forum Cinema, Hexham
13 – 17 year olds. All sessions are free, but booking is essential.

Ever wondered how scripts are written for TV and film?
This is your chance to find out and to learn some of the tricks of the trade from North East Screen writer, Fiona Birkbeck. These hands-on sessions will talk you through the process and give you a chance to plan your own script. Each session will last two hours. The final session will include a chance to meet Michael Chaplin whose screen writing credits include the ITV film ‘Foyle’s War’ and the hit series ‘Monarch of the Glen’.
Places are limited and booking essential.

- Village Volleyball
There is a volleyball festival at Haydon Bridge High School on Wednesday 30th April from 6.00 – 8.00. Get a team of three together and have a go! £6/team. Come on your own, if you haven’t got a team.

Kaplan Financial are running a free business and accounting summer school in Newcastle, between 4 -7 August. This will cover sessions on bookkeeping, CV writing, mock interviews and 'Meet the Employer'.
